Science 8
This first junior science class introduces students to the study of life science (human body systems), earth and space science (water systems on earth), and physical science (optics and fluids). Integrated throughout each of these topics are based on laboratory skills, individual and group work, and solving problems using the scientific method.

Science 9
Building on laboratory skills and the methods of scientific inquiry introduced in grade 8, students discover some of the more principles in life science (reproduction), earth and space science (space exploration), and physical science (atoms, elements and compounds along with electricity). Intergrated throughout each of these topics are the basic laboratory skills, individual and group work, and solving problems using the scientific method.

Science 10
This course continues to build on the skills and knowledge developed in earlier grades. This biology unit studies cells, reproduction, and heredity. The chemistry unit studies atomic structures, writing chemical formulae, chemical reactions and chemical reaction. The physics unit involves the study of electricity , magnetism, and nuclear radiation. There is also a unit on earth science - where the students study plate tectonics and it's effects.

A government exam will be written which will determine 20% of the final mark.
