Information about Kindergarten/Grade 1 Registration

French Immersion Kindergarten and Grade 1 Application for 2013-14

We are currently full in Kindergarten and Grade 1 for September 2013. If you would like to register and have your name put on a waitlist, please contact the School District Office at 250-754-5521.

Important Dates:

First Friday of each month is Popcorn Day - $0.50 per bag.

May 28th - Welcome to Kindergarten 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in the gym

May 29th - Whole School Photo/Class Photos

May 30th - Zone (Track & Field)

May 31st - Hot Lunch (Pizza) and Spirit Wear Day

June 6th - District Track & Field Meet

June 7th - Year End PAC Event 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.

June 10th - PAC AGM at the School 7:00 p.m.

June 14th - Hot Lunch (Sushi/Teriyaki/Pita) and Spirit Wear Day

June 18th - Grade 7 Celebration

June 19th - Assembly at 12:00 p.m. (Kathleen/Sarah's class presenting)

June 25th - Fun Day (AM)

June 26th - Last Day of School (Dismissal at 2:45 p.m.) Report Cards Issued

Registration for 2012/2013

Please contact the school office if you would like to register your child for the 2012/2013 school year. We have limited spots available. Kindergarten is also full and there is a District wait list. Registration Form (Please note you must also bring in the oginal birth certifiate for us to copy).

Out of Catchment Form - This is only for grade 7 students who are not planning on attending NDSS or their catchment school.

Emergency Preparedness

At the beginning of every school year we ask parents to prepare a Comfort Kit for their child(ren) to keep at school.  These kits will contain items such as snacks, family pictures or a small toy to provide comfort to all students in the case of an emergency.  We ask that the Comfort Kit form be filled out and placed inside the comfort kit so that it’s clearly visible.  Thank you for your assistance. Volunteer Driver Form

Volunteer Driver Forms are kept on file in the school office. If you would like to volunteer to drive for a field trip please make sure that you complete a Volunteer Driver Form and return it to your classroom teacher or the office.
