Beginning and Advanced Sewing Courses, Food Safe Course, and Professional Development Day or Break Classes are posted on our school calendar. Triple P Parenting Course and Parent Child Mother Goose sessions January-March. Check out our new Intermediate Playground! Foodsafe and Red Cross Babysitter courses are offered in the fall and spring. Good Food Box orders from Nanaimo Foodshare can be placed with Linda at the end of each month. Cost $10. Delivery is the 2nd Wednesday of each month. |

Community Access Program
Our computer lab is open to the Fairview Community every Wednesday and Thursday throughout the school year from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm beginning mid-September. Thank you, Nathalie Downie for running this program!
Our StrongStart Centre is open to parents, caregivers and pre-schoolers every school day from 8:45 - 11:45. Thank you Cathy Brocklehurst for providing a place for parents and toddlers to learn together! Snacks are served every day.
Malaspina Child Development Centre Preschool & After-School Childcare
The Malaspina preschool & after-school childcare programs are located in the little building on Fairview Community School's playground. Donna Gill runs the program. Preschool children can attend from 2-5 days a week. However, register early if you are looking for childcare in September as this program is usually full. Call 753-6961 for more information.
A HUGE thank you to the Fairview moms and to Linda Manarin for feeding us soup every Wednesday from the October until the end of April from 11:30-12:30 in the multi-purpose room! Soup and a bun is sold for 50 cents; chocolate or white milk costs $1.
Movie Nights
The last Friday of the month is movie night at Fairview from October to May at 6:30 pm. Kids must be under the direct supervision of an adult. There is a concession in the gym.
