When making questions for your bank:

Make your objective names meaningful to anyone in your subject area
Always fill in the keywords using a sensible taxonomy
Mark the correct answer and fill in the solution box
Use tif or wmf format graphics whenever possible as they take up less space than bmp format
Pasting a graphic into MS Works draw program followed by 'copying' it converts it to wmf format
Lock your questions to avoid others (and yourself) from accidently altering them

Creating and Printing tests:

Always save a test which you've created before printing it!

Banks which have been converted from mac to windows format should be reformatted which is found under the utilities menu choosing global changes. When using a bank which you have not created on your own computer it is also a good idea to reformat. Common problems which you may encounter are choices for multiple choice questions might be missing at the bottom of a page.

Lay out your header with space between it and the first question. The person taking the test will appreciate it and your test will look more professional.

Do not mix multiple choice with free format questions.

If you are scrambling the order of your test items be sure not to include linked questions in the scramble. Otherwise you may end up with questions which depend upon a diagram which will now appear later in the test.
