SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL
Any girls in Grades 11 & 12 that want to play senior girls basketball are reminded of practice Thursday at 7 pm.
GRADE 8 BOYS BASKETBALL
Any boys in Grade 8 that want to play basketball this winter are reminded that there is a practice Thursday at 5 pm.
FLOOR HOCKEY
Dream Team and the Cab Drivers of Buffalo face off today followed by Prestige Worldwide and team Jesse DeRossa will be the second game. Reminder that there will be no food!!
GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY
Congratulations to the girls field hockey team, who beat Queen Margarets 5 - 0. Goals were scored by Brie-Ann Briggs, Sara Grover, Laura Notley, and Aly Eby. And a great job to Simin Rupa who played in net.
ME TO WE
Me To We, Me to We - calling all Me to We participants. There's an important meeting today at lunch in E204. Yes you met yesterday, but you also need to meet today.
CAN DRIVE
Trick or Eat! This year, Dover Bay is having a Halloween can count. Instead of collecting candy, why not collect cans so that the less fortunate can eat. While you go around trick or treating ask if you can get cans instead for Dover Bay's annual can drive. On Monday, November 2nd, there will be a can count.
GRADUATION TRANSITIONS
January Grads are reminded to see Mr. Dendes about the GTS in Room C100.
FIREWORKS
This is a reminder to all students that the possession, selling or igniting of firecrackers/fireworks will result in suspension and the items confiscated and destroyed.
FRANCE CANADA EXCHANGE
There will be a meeting for students and their parents interested in participating in the OSEF France-Canada exchange this coming summer or next school year. The meeting will be on Wednesday October 28th at 6:30 pm in the Dover Bay Library.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers are needed to help the Vancouver Island Symphony on November 4 with their Chicks & Chocolate event. If you are interested please come to the Career Centre in C100.
