Announcement

MONDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2009

BASKETBALL SKILLS
Any girl who plans to play grade 8, 9, or 10 basketball this year is welcome to come to the skills sessions on Wednesday and Friday mornings, starting at 7:20 am and ending at 8:10.

GRADUATION TRANSITIONS
January Grads are reminded to see Mr. Dendes about the GTS in Room C100.

CAN DRIVE
Trick or Eat! This year, Dover Bay is having a Halloween can count. Instead of collecting candy, why not collect cans so that the less fortunate can eat. While you go around trick or treating ask if you can get cans instead for Dover Bay's annual can drive. On Monday, November 2nd, there will be a can count.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers are needed to help the Vancouver Island Symphony on November 4 with their Chicks & Chocolate event. If you are interested please come to the Career Centre in C100.

FIREWORKS
This is a reminder to all students that the possession, selling or igniting of firecrackers/fireworks will result in suspension and the items confiscated and destroyed.

ECO FACT OF THE DAY
The amount of wood and paper we throw away each year is enough to heat 50,000,000 for 20 years.
