JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL
There will be a brief meeting for all boys in Grade 9 and 10 who are interested in playing basketball this year in Room D212 at the beginning of lunch.

SENIOR WRESTLERS

There is a meeting for all senior wrestlers in the drama room at lunch today.

CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS

Would the cross country team travelling to Vanier tomorrow, please meet “briefly” in Portable 5 at 11:30 today.

JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL

There will be a brief but extremely important meeting Thursday at Lunch in Room D212 for girls in Grade 10 who want to play basketball this year.

LIBRARY ANNOUNCEMENTS
For all students interested in being library volunteers, please come to a brief meeting tomorrow, Thursday, at 11:35 in the library office.

LANGUAGE CHALLENGE EXAMS

Any students interested in writing one of the Language Challenge Exams should see their counselor by October 19th. For more information, see September's newsletter. Anyone with the forms, make sure you return them to your counselor by October 21st.

LORAN SCHOLARSHIPS

Grade 12's…Today is the last day to hand in to Mr. Durvin the Loran Scholarship if you want to be considered as a Dover Bay sponsored applicant. Please hand in your applications to the Grad Centre.

VARIETY NIGHT

This Friday, it's “Friday Night Live”! Come see a variety of acts ranging from singing to dancing to juggling to improv! Best five dollars you have ever spent! Tickets at the door.

VARIETY NIGHT PARTICIPANTS

Attention all variety night participants! Tech Rehearsal is Thursday after school. Please bring everything you need.

DOVER BAY CHESS CLUB

Dover Bay Chess Club is starting back up in E203, Mr. Slater's classroom, every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch. Everyone is welcome.

STARLIGHT FILM FESTIVAL

Do you want to go to the Starlight Film Festival? Tickets will be selling today and tomorrow during lunch in the atrium. Tickets are $20.00 each. See you there!

MULTICULTURAL FAMILY GAMES AND YOUTH GYM NIGHT

Held at the gymnasium and multipurpose room at McGirr Elementary School on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 on the following dates: Oct. 14, 28, Nov. 25 and Dec. 9. Come out and have fun learning a new game or playing an old one with a new friend or an old friend.
