FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2009 SENIOR BOYS SOCCER Congratulations to the Sr. Boys soccer team on their S-1 win over Francis Kelsey last night. Riley Peace and Ritchie Hall scored two goals each and Ben Anderson scored the single. SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL Girls in grades 11 and 12 who wish to play basketball this season are encouraged to attend a short meeting next Tuesday, at lunch, in Room D211. There will be important information about open gyms, schedules, and tryouts, so any girls interested should attend this meeting. Please see Mr. Nelson if you have any questions. PEER TUTORING BLOCKS 3 & 4 A reminder to all of Mrs. Saunders Block 3 & 4 peer tutors that we will be meeting in the Portable - P9 for the beginning of class. Please bring your computer password to class. VARIETY NIGHT Do you act? Sing? Dance? Juggle? Make weird noises? Then why haven't you signed up for the Variety Night? Last chance auditions today at lunch and after school. DOVER BAY CHESS CLUB Dover Bay Chess Club is starting back up in E203, Mr. Slater's classroom, every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch. Everyone is welcome. GRADE 12 EMAIL Grade 12's should have received their first email from the Dover Bay office. If not, please drop by the office to check if we have your correct email. PEER TUTORS IN BLOCKS 1 & 2 Mr. Dendes' Peer Tutors need to stay in their placements today as Mr. Dendes will be away. LEADERSHIP Leadership/Peer Tutoring students in Block 3 please come to Mr. Dendes portable on Tuesday for a Global awareness workshop. PHOTO RETAKES School Photo Retakes will be Wednesday October 14 in the morning. You must bring your old photos in to get a retake. Students who have not had their photo taken must pick up a new form from the office. GRAD PHOTOS: Grad photos will take place on October 23rd - 26th. Sign up sheets will be available next week.
