Assignment 1 - Teens' 5 Things to Do This Week

In this assignment, you are going to make a list of 5 websites to share with people in class.

Click on the linke to see a sample of what other people have done in the online community.

Start surfing the net and find at least 5 websites that you think ANY 14~17 year-old teenagers should check out.
You need to follow the criteria:

At least ONE site must be academic (e.g. school work related, homework help, etc.)
At least ONE site must be a knowledge or information site (e.g. natural disasters, climate change, etc.)
At least ONE site must be entertainment (New movie release, exciting exhibition at a museum, art gallery, etc.)
You can include some fun stuff, photos, interactive websites, etc. Share what you use.
Try to avoid game sites. If you must, only include ONE, and make it specific. (Don't give me a link to Flashgames.com)
Do not include any social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, etc.) or media streaming sites (youtube.com)
Must be school appropriate

In a Word document, you will write down a title for each site (see sample link above)
Highlight keywords in each title and make a hyperlink to the site
Number-bullet the list
Hand in the completed Word document with formatting and hyperlinks for evaluation.
