About Our Community School
What makes a school a “Community School”? John Barsby Secondary is one of four community schools that belong to the Harewood Family of Community Schools. Community Schools are regular schools with a special focus on the value of community involvement.
John Barsby Community School is a place where people of ALL ages in the community use the school for education, skill development, training opportunities, recreational activities, social gatherings, meetings, cultural activities and much more! JBCS is a very busy place all year round and we hope that you will take part in some of the activities during your school year.
