Witch-hunts were present during the 1600’s in England, Scotland and the Puritan colonies in the United States. Although most of the people persecuted for witchcraft were in fact innocent, they still suffered horrible deaths at the hands of some of their fellow citizens- witch-hunters. In point form, list eight significant facts regarding witch-hunts in the 1600’s.
