General Encyclopedia
New Book of Knowledge (REF 031 NEW): presents good descriptions and illustrations of animals. It also presents, in most cases, a description of the animal's digestive system, but no illustrations.
World Book 2001 (REF): presents descriptions and illustrations of animals and what they eat.
Science Sets
International Wildlife Encyclopedia (REF 591.03 MAR) will provide you with excellent information on animals, their habitats and their diet. See the Index to find which volume you should consult for the animal you are researching.
Encyclopedia of Life Sciences (REF 574.03 ENC) does not deal with individual animals but with types. For example, there is an article on cats but not on leopards.

Animal Digestive Systems
Digestive Systems covers vertebrates, sharks, birds, rabits, horses, koalas, cattle, deer, sheep: the descriptions are brief, but there are some good line drawings of the digestive systems. You shoud use more than this site, however, to complete your project
Classification of Digestive Systems has some good diagrams. However, the site is very slow to load, and might even hang up your computer. You'll have to be patient and might want to avoid this site until you've tried the others.
